Gaga flying through the NRG Stadium stage.

Yes, the Patriots may have won, but Lady Gaga stole the show and sent the stadium up in flames after. Gaga gave the world everything we needed and more this year at the Super Bowl Halftime show. All my expectations went out the window as I seen her stand on the platform ON THE ROOF, singing 'God Bless America' and finishing with 'This Land Is Your Land' after the American flag formed behind her. Before jumping she started her subliminal political statements saying "One Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty justice FOR ALL."
Wearing a blue and silver sparkle bodysuit with matching heel boots, she performed all of her greatest hits, which reminded me and all of America why we all fell in love with her. Performing hits like 'Poker Face,' 'Born This Way,' 'Telephone,' 'Just Dance,' and 'Bad Romance' everything was so nostalgic for me. Not just the ‘Little Monsters’ were bopping to her hit singles. While she sang only the chorus of her hit records, she sang the entire politically driven 'born this way' verse. She made a yet another political statement reciting the lyrics "Don't be a drag, just be a queen/Whether you're broke or evergreen/You’re black, white, beige, chola descent/You’re Lebanese, you're Orient/Whether life's disabilities/Left you outcast, bullied, or teased/Rejoice and love yourself today/‘Cause baby you were born this way.” Before the show Gaga stated "The only statements I'll be making during the halftime show are the ones that I've been consistently making throughout my career. I believe in a passion for inclusion, the spirit of equality and the spirit of this country, one of love and compassion and kindness," and she did just that. Her performance was such a thrill, I did not care that she did not bring out Beyonce during 'Telephone.' Every bit of her choreography was on point, never missed a beat. During her performance she eventually put on a Gold, spiky jacket as she performed "Just Dance." She made one last outfit change during 'Bad Romance" where she put on a shoulder pad inspired white top with sequined panties matching her backup dancers that wore wearing shoulder pads and helmets. She ended the show climbing steps and yelling "Super bowl 51" and immediately after she dropped her mic and jumped and grabbed a football and fell into her stage. But her appearance at the Super Bowl was not over; as the game went for a commercial break there was a commercial of Gaga for Tiffany and Co. discussing her empowerment and creative direction and a commercial porting the new series 'Genius' with Albert Einstein playing 'Bad Romance' on the violin.
